Hurray!

Shhhh · 20/01/2011 12:13

Know what.. I was looking at their site a few weeks ago and was thinking what a good idea it would be..

they must have read my mind Wink.

Lots of nice maternity clothes about atm, I recall when expecting dd (now 5) and ds(now3) there was nothing nice maternity wise..

Hoping for baby #3 this year so fingers crossed it stays this way with clothes !

nicolamumof3 · 20/01/2011 14:04

fab! am 15w atm with dc4 and bursting out of everything.

Rassy · 20/01/2011 15:45

I wish they would do a petite range!

BusyMummy78 · 20/01/2011 16:29

I'm sure there was a newsletter last year which said they were do maternity & petite.

Maternity collection too late for DC2 - I'm due on Sunday!

Thank you!

nicolamumof3 · 25/01/2011 17:22

don't like any of it! phew! frumpy and lots of viscose, yuck. Spring summer pg i prefer cotton it has to be said.

Northernlurker · 25/01/2011 17:30

Don't need any maternity wear but those jeans better be damn good for £55!! The maternity tee and drapey top also look expensive.

nicolamumof3 · 25/01/2011 17:44

i agree, can get much nicer, trendier things for half the price in h&m, topshop etc.

mum295 · 25/01/2011 17:49

Only ordered the leggings in the end, as their normal leggings are supposed to be so good.

Not that taken with the rest of it...why so many sleeveless tops? Hate my upper arms!

Meggles76 · 25/01/2011 19:20

Rassy, I am always banging on to Boden about a petite range and never get a response!

NinkyNonker · 25/01/2011 19:57

What a small selection, very 'meh' for want of a better word.

Northumberlandlass · 26/01/2011 07:53

Actually I contacted Boden about doing a Tall Range (not just adding 1" to the bottom of trousers).

I was told that they were currently working on Petite range and therefore would consider a Tall one.

Meggles76 · 26/01/2011 08:10

Thanks Northumberlandlass - I will keep my fingers crossed. As you say, they need to alter the proportions as well as the length. I currently only buy tops, knitwear and tunics as everything else is far too big or the proportions are wrong.

polyhymnia · 26/01/2011 10:02

Another vote for a Tall one!

Shhhh · 26/01/2011 10:06

you tall mums can have the off cuts from my jeans.. at 4ft 11 there is often left overs from alterations Grin

Shhhh · 26/01/2011 10:10

Ohh I like the double payer dress and the tshirts. Yes I guess you can get more and better range in h&m etc BUT guess its the fact that its boden and not everyone will be in it iykwim..

Patsy99 · 26/01/2011 13:46

Blimey - it's almost sold out already by the look of it.

smellyeli · 26/01/2011 15:54

Oh no - I rushed over there, only to find that it's all short sleeves (somehow, during pregnancy, my upper arms become a depository for future breast milk fat stores) and short hems (my legs also become elephantine). I'm going to have to stick to H&M. Plus I think that ruffle fronted dress might make me look like I'd spilt something down my bump.

gibba8 · 26/01/2011 18:57

Another vote here for a tall range. Would be great :)
