Red dress..

I bought this dress todayon my lunch hour.

Is it dressy enough for a wedding/races?
Any idea on colour of shoes or a fascinator/hat?

Red is a hard colour to work with

I'm not sure if black shoes would be too hard.

Nude coloured shoes look fab with red dresses.

Don't think black would be too hard especially if they were peep-toes.

Think its def dressy enough for wedding/races if you accessorised right.

Love it!!! Have a couple of dresses from LK Bennett and always feel very polished and elegant.

How about nude / camel coloured shoes if you're going for more of a Summer look. Agree that black could look a little hard for Summer races or wedding but would look fine in Winter with nearly black tights.

Lovely dress. Nude shoes good, also snakeskin or even leopard.

Black and red together always looks very 80s, I think.

I'd steer clear of a fascinator, but if you want a hat, bright pink or orange will look very striking.

right so either nude or black shoes I have black peep toe shoes. But no nude ones (every other colour though!). Will pick some up. Saw some in the store today and was tempted

LK Bennett seems to be getting better, I used to think a lot of there clothes were quite chintzy, but they now do some lovely dresses.

Accessories - any suggestions, any statement pieces?
Hat or Fascinator?
