Very slowly thinking of spring! Keen on the floral tea dress, chunky boots with chunky knit boyfriend cardi thang! Smile. But where do you recommend a nice chunky knit cardi from? Not keen on man made fabrics but don't want to spend a fortune. similar tothis

I've just received www.celtic-sheepskin.co.uk/ladies/ladies-cardigans-1278/boyfriend-cardigan/

this morning. It is lovely but it a bit expensive.

FaffTastic · 17/01/2011 18:26

Yes, yes, not only is it M&S but its Per Una (spit) but it is nice imo and I wear it with some of my tea dresses dependant on their colour

chunky cardi

FaffTastic · 17/01/2011 18:33

I have one similiar to below (though not from M&S) which is handy to throw over dresses aswell though this one might not be chunky enough:

Lacking Chunk?

very similiar

another Per Una - eek

I'm not normally M&S obsessed but don't mind some of their chunky knits

Ooooh I actually love that topshop cardi, I might have to buy one!

FaffTastic · 17/01/2011 20:37

Gap

Love the TopShop Cardie too - what is it you don't like about it OP?

www.littlewoods.com/women/e/b/1589/q/boyfriend-cardigan/s/price,1/r/100.end?trail=1589 how about this page quite a few here

Meggles76 · 17/01/2011 20:43

V disappointed that the Topshop one is sold out in my size. May have to try local store...

HelenBa · 17/01/2011 21:30

ooh badly coveting the too-expensive celtic one...

so, can someone explain as I'm obviously not very good at this, I think these chunky cardi are lovely and even bought one - but then i realised they were hugely impractical as you can't fit a coat over the top. What am I doing wrong?

FaffTastic · 17/01/2011 21:46

Don't think you can do chunky cardigans and a coat. I cut off the circulation in my arms when I try. Think you're meant to layer underneath so you don't need a coat and they are good coming into spring when you can wear instead of a coat.

bgt · 17/01/2011 22:26

I love that Topshop Cardi, what would you wear with it?

chickenlickin · 17/01/2011 22:39

I am beginning to fall for the cardi I posted about! Better not wait too long or will be gone! I would wear it with tea dress, chunky boots and woolly tights and then in the summer minus the tights and boots!

Have you seen this
Very similar to the Topshop one.

MilliONaire · 18/01/2011 23:36

HelenBa, I am coveting that celtic one too, it's one of the nicest I have seen! Hmmmm....

partyhats · 19/01/2011 10:41

I have that Topshop one, it is lovely and v warm, have not worn it yet but will be wearing in springtime. There are lots of them being sold on ebay. You will probably need to go down a size as they come up big.

ifancyashandy · 19/01/2011 10:43

I too have the Top Shop one and was going to suggest it! It's lovely to wear.

bgt · 19/01/2011 12:34

how come ebay can sell them at half the price of Topshop?

olderandwider · 19/01/2011 12:40

this?

Not too many sizes left but looks lush.

K8HB · 19/01/2011 13:10

Cos - is really good for things like that and they do great colours.

bgt · 21/01/2011 11:53

i ordered the one from New Look, its nice but its not very thick, its quite lightweight. I ordered a 12 it was way too big, am having to return it
