What is the big deal about 7 jeans?

Can someone try to sum up what it is about 7 jeans.

I hadn't even heard of them before coming on here (yes I am very behind in fashion ). I looked them up on the internet - I still don't get it. Is it because they ae so expensive hence very exclusive hence very trendy and on everyones "must have" list (a bit like the DVF wrap dress last year).

I am five' tall - will they fit and will my bum look great in them? Or am I better off sticking to Gap?

Yes, I've wondered this. Silly name puts me off. (As well as price, of course!)

yes, yes, and yes. Jeans are jeans, IME, unless you buy mum-jeans in M&S. No need to spend £250 on them if you don't want to (especially if you don't hang round with people who'll notice or care that they are 7FAM).
