sorry, i know its probably been done before but couldn't trawl through all the old UGG messages to find out!

i've put them on an extra spin, stuffed them with newspaper and put them in the boiler cupboard to dry.

is that right?? thanks Smile

lol@ passion!!

OhCobblers · 14/01/2011 21:42

cookie mine are the normal suede. however, whilst we're talking the cardy ones - do you need to be really careful when you're wearing them out to make sure its not raining?

have always wondered and recently saw some on sale but they look like you'd get wet feet?! Smile

I wear mine in the rain, ever so often it does get through, but it does take quite a lot of rain to penetrate. I wore them in the snow, when it was really deep, i was walking through quite a lot for a long period of time and it didn't seep though.

I do love them, i have started wearing them slouch style with leggings, of course it looks fab Grin

OhCobblers · 14/01/2011 22:13

course it does Grin thts how i wear my uggs all the time!

Cobblers if you sort of roll them, they should soften up...

I've got a sticky uppy big toe when I walk and I have worn a hole in last year's Uggs through not wearing socks with them. I vowed I would wear socks with this year's but have already been luxuriating in the snuggly no-socks-ness.

I can't seem to keep the Cardy ones on my feet very well. My feet sort of pull out of them. Hardly ever wear them.

OhCobblers · 14/01/2011 22:36

well well well - you learn something new every day Grin
i had no idea that i walked like that!!

so Belle have you done anything about the hole or is not big enough to worry about?

i've been looking at the Cardy boots on the KG website - i've just realised that i really really like them in either Grey OR black - am not fussy!! £135 not a good price though!

Cobblers they are now for indoor use only and I bought some new ones... Grin

UpsyDaisyDo · 15/01/2011 12:12

Are the cardy ones as warm as the others? Are the feet completely lined with sheepskin or just the soles? I have Ugg baileys and Ugg cozy knit slippers and both are so warm.

cookielove · 15/01/2011 16:17

The cardy ones, are only lined on the sole, but they are very warm i do wear them with socks, as i am slightly allergic to wool, and the cardy straight on my skin makes we itch

UpsyDaisyDo · 15/01/2011 16:41

Thanks Cookie

Got Ugg slippers that I don't want to ruin but want to wash them. I have a sheepskin was. What shall I do ?

baubie · 27/03/2017 21:44

Let them dry naturally away from heat x
