Mini Boden Sizing

When parents make comments about their purchase, I would expect them to be TRUTHFUL.

Many read: my daughter is aged 6, but we bought 8-9 years, then they tick the box that it's tru to size. It's NOT, so don't say it is. It's annoying. If clothes are coming up small, say so and Boden will fix it so we don't have to buy the next size up!

Rant over.

But their 6yo could be the size of an 8yo Confused, so it would still be true to size. I've just ordered 9-10 with the expectation it will be big on my 9yo because she's small for her age. (Mind you it may well be out of stock before despatch anyway Hmm)

I understand what you're saying, as we all come in different shapes and sizes, but being three sizes larger isn't the norm for the 'average' child (whatever average is).

I read the reviews so now I think I have to buy 4-5 years for my 2.5 yo, which are massive and have the annoyance of spending ages in the queue at the Post Office.

I find their sizing to be really weird actually - my DS is small for his age and yet his age 3-4 jeans are too short (he is 3 1/2) whereas the long sleeved top he has (same size) is enormous. And he is still wearing his 2-3 coat from last year

dd's coat arrived ! 9-10 is a good fit with some room to spare but bearing in mind she is less than 128cm and skinny I would hardly say generously cut. There is plenty of length but less room to grow in the sleeves Confused Still she likes it ... (and we didn't get charged p and p even though it was a clearance item)

I am not sure that it is the fault of parents who leave comments that the sizing is so "out"!!

I find it comes up very small/short indeed on my 7 year old (who I now have to buy 11-12y coats and jeans for) but judging by the comments here some things come up bigger too.
