Can anyone recommend a good place to buy boots or shoes that come high up the foot for girls? Clarks boots don't fit my daughter as her feet are wide and she has a high instep, Startrite don't have her size and are getting in their summer sandals (great idea in January) and I've looked online but all the other brands I find don't come in fittings, or don't have her size (7.5).

Oh and one more request: that the boots aren't pink!

thanks all

Have you tried amazon, they do a wide range of childrens shoes. Ricosta might be a good brand to try, ds2 has a high instep and I got some Ricosta boots for him. Brantano at a pinch?
You probably need an independent shop with a range of brands but the boots will be more and more unavailable now it's Jan.
