i am wearing what i like to think of as my faux all saints look (the shop, not the band Wink):)

black biker boots (barratts, about 900000 years ago)
black mini skirt that is all uneven hems and bits of black net dangling off it (asda via charity shop
black longsleeved tshirt (h&m)
grey boyfriend cardi (sainsbos)

also flesh coloured tights with coloured flowers on (h&m). my MIL saw me and thought i had tattoo'd my legs Grin

today is entitled God Forbid I Should Spend More Than 30 Seconds Not Sorting Out Other People's Messes Angry

i am also admiring of ladies who can pull off brogues without looking lke miss trunchbull Grin

Cyb - you know when you go to Next and there is that rack of heinous frocks reduced to pence but that not even Noel Fielding would consider?

i buy them Blush

is about 3 years old so no linky but is orange tweedy on the top, then very thinly quilted orange skirt with white hexagon pattern on bottom, comes to mid-thigh

i have been asked if it was Boden Grin

aquavit - i will pass on your good wishes to the rocket dogs Grin

though i am getting slightly concerned, they have been at the boot place for over a week...maybe the bootman loves them so much he has run off with them...

  • white hexagon pattern is on bottom half of dress, not one's own bottom Blush

nothing would surprise me, mayor (wrt the bootman, not hexagon patterns on your bottom, that is)

I have the height for flat shoes but brogues (anything that shape, really) just look wrong, somehow: too schoolgirl maybe? or it might be that while my legs are good my arse is on the (ahem) generous side. Perhaps they'd work with a miniskirt but all the 16yos round here are working that look so I'd feel a bit of a twat.

I rather fancy the idea of looking like miss trunchbull: perhaps I need to acquire some tweed, too.

rolled up boyfriend chinos with brogues: nice, cyb

But, while I'm sure that you don't look like a duck when you wear brogues with skinny jeans, even if you do have [cough] reasonably sized feet (? iirc from ancient shoeboot thread), I can't help thinking that I do.

perhaps it's the feathers

I work from home, and dont have any appointments, so:

thermal walking trousers
blue t-shirt
big old woolley jumper (with holes in)

Aqua I woudl NOT wear brogues with skinny jeans unless they showed a shapley ankle i.e were a little cropped. I would look like a golf club otherwise
