MIL getting remarried - need an outfit

April wedding so will need wrap/cardigan/jacket/shrug/something

No clue how dressed-up other people will be.

Would rather not spend £££.

Any thoughts?

5'7, size 10, dark hair, darkish skin for an English person, good arms/shoulders, smallish norks, not great legs (nothing calf-length please)

I was going to let this thread die and start up again when thre were more springy things in the shops, but then I saw this. It's not even cheap, but it is beautiful. What do you think?

The NW3 dress is very cool, but not at all me (I don't really do military) and looks like a coat to me rather than a dress.

Monsoon red one is pretty. So is the grey one (I like the holes), but it's a bit grey.

That Coast one is lovely. I tried it on for a wedding last year but it did nothing for me (I've got too much of a tum and I looked about 6 months pregnant ). Lovely dress though

I've been persuaded not to get it as it will apparently date quite badly.

Never mind. The search will continue, perhaps in a month or so when the spring things are out.
