Going back to work - please help me complete my capsule wardrobe

I have been on maternity leave for a year and am going back to work next month. Office based job working for a Local Authority but also need something smart for meetings etc.

So far I have bought 2 long line waterfall angora cardigans in black and dark grey from M&Co - sorry can't do links - and 2 pairs of flat-ish Clarks Unstructured shoes - one in black & grey and the other in wine. I have a smart black suit which need some new tops to go underneath. I usually wear trousers/long skirts but am willing to have a change. Tend to like Wallis/Debenhams for work stuff.

I am a size 16 - big boobs and belly - but legs and arms are ok (ish!)

Also needs to be pretty low budget if possible.

All suggestions gratefully received!!

Thanks

It's worth a look in Phase Eight for dresses in the sale - lots that can be dressed up or down in there.

Oo thanks - forgotten about Phase Eight - I like some of the sale stuff....

Bravissimo for shirts that accommodate big boobs.

Or, rather than shirts, could you wear long-sleeve cotton jersey tops with a T-shirt bra? That's what I tend to wear under suits. Seems less fussy than a blouse. Land's End have got some in their sale. V-neck is nice if you're well-endowed. for example here

Oasis seem to have some great dresses and they do make a size 16 so could be worth a shot. see here and here

Great thanks for the ideas - I didnt know bravissimo did clothes!!

I have quite a few jersey tops like that which I wear a lot - just fancy a change!

Really like the first oasis dress - wouldnt have thought of something like that myself.

Looking forward to my shopping trip now!
