Can I trim shaggy eyebrows?

They are plucked, but each hair seems so much longer than it used to be. Can I give them a haircut? If so, how?

Yes... carefully!

Use either a fine lash/brow comb or an old mascara wand that has been washed thoroughly to brush the hairs upwards towards your forehead, then carefully trim the long hairs that poke out about the natural brow with a pair of sharp hair or nail scissors. I would advise leaving about 2-3 mm leeway between the length of the longer hairs and the top of your natural brow so that when you brush them back into their normal shape they look more natural. I sometimes also brush the hairs downwards towards the eye on the outer half of the brow and do the same from underneath if necessary but in this case leave a little more leeway until you are used to doing this.

Thanks Havingkittens. I will give it a go.

Agree with HavingKittens. I have been doing this for years as have very heavy eyebrows. Do it one direction and then pluck each eyebrow, then do it the other direction and finish off plucking.
