Cos they are a bit too small, and If I lost half a stone they would fit, and half a stone is so achievable!

expatinscotland · 04/10/2005 14:22

Nope. I'm ruthless when it comes to charity binning clothes I no longer wear. If I haven't worn it in one year it goes OUT unless it has extreme sentimental value.

Angeliz · 04/10/2005 14:23

i have 6 bags of clothes sitting in my car at the moment and i'm going now to pop them in nearest charity box.

mostly size 6 from before dd2. She is now 7 months and i've given up!

BaronessJewelsofToochester · 04/10/2005 14:24

when we moved we gave about 6 bags to the charity shop but I keep thinking 'where's that xxxx' I'm a terrible hoarder of clothes that aren't even that nice

Size 6???????????????????

Gobbledispook · 04/10/2005 14:26

Loads.

Cos you never know when you might want to back to them. I think I've thrown out my pinkish cord jacket in a ruthless clear out and I wanted to wear it this summer!

expatinscotland · 04/10/2005 14:27

Instead of being sad about giving the clothes away, be happy that you're making room in your cupboards and life for something better to come along!

LadyPuffOfRomford · 04/10/2005 14:28

No. Had a clear out at the weekend and sent 4 bin bagsworth down to charity shop .

Aero · 04/10/2005 14:29

Have got better at being ruthless over the last couple of years. Lack of storage space makes it easier.

Gobbledispook · 04/10/2005 14:29

I've got quite a lot of work stuff 'just in case' I go back to work! Ha ha, it will be out of date by then IF I ever decide to go back (can't see it!).

Angeliz · 04/10/2005 14:29

yep, am now a 12.
(mind you, most people thought i looked ill as a 6!)
i find it very cathartic having clear outs.
