HELP! Anyone else the same or know of anywhere else to try? I always find it difficult to find clothes & shoes that fit properly. Am currently size 18-20 (Hoping to change that) and 6ft 2". I end up buying from same places all the time and get fed up and want more choice. For instance I'm trying to get a dark brown pair of shoes for work can't find any I'm happy with so getting v . I also think that some tall speacialists cash in on it too.

I usually shop at NEXT, Long Tall Sally (but not if I can help it as think quality is US & can be pricey), Faith and Tallgirls

Another vote for Evans tall range - you do have to be a bit picky though as some of their stuff is of the multicoloured tent variety!

Oh yeah, 5'11, size 18/20, foot size 8 or 9 depending on style, shop etc.

I've got nice stuff from Tescos too, their longer length trousers are pretty good

I got some lovely lineny trousers from Tesco in May, but the winter stuff I've seen hasn't been as user-friendly. And their long pants are not nearly as long as DP's - OK with sandals but with socks and shoes you can see the socks

My other prob with LTS is that their tops aren't generous enough; they do go up to a 20 but for me the sleeves are way too narrow, I haven't found a jacket yet that I can get into.

Oh, that reminds me though, Matalan go up to 20-22 and some of their coats are OK - bit short in the sleeve but wide enough in the shoulder.

Boundary Mill has a large shoe dept which goes up to a 9 (lots of Hush Puppies). Limited locations though.

Having said that, check out Hush Puppies anyway, lots of their styles go up to a 9.

i'm a weeny 5'10.5" with size 8/9 feet - hobbs and dolcis sometimes go up to a 9. Gap for long jeans and I also make skirts and trousers myself. I hate LTS - poor quality and often weird designs too.

Thanks I feel happier already. I didnt realise there was so much out there! I agree about LTS tops (and some of their styles) I always find the tops too short in the body! I have tried the Liz Label (think its called Aspire now) - not very impressed witheir quality either!

Thought I'd share my favs in case I enlighten anyone!

I have found J Taylor at Debenhams quite good for trouseurs and skirts. Next Directory do some jackets with extra long sleeves usually upto a 20 and you can get most trouseurs upto 20L and upto 18XXL. Havent tried the XXL as haven't slimmed down enough but the XL is usually ok. The Faith website for shoes upto size 9 is really good.

Oooh.... big bones and picking with LTS.... top-wise, they just steam stretch their tops to be longer so after washing them they just shrink worse than any other brand. Think that is a bit of a piss take personally (just short of 6' myself, and resent the cheap shortcut for the additional premium!)

H&M are good length wise - had several good T-shirt style tops from there this year that really cover the muffin with no pulling down required. You don't need to shop in BB section either for T shirt material in H&M - just the size L usually.

Definitely echo Evans for the larger shoe - I have pretty wide feet which is why I like their shoes, but found out last week that they go up to a size 10. I usually take a size 8 or 9 foot, but with the wider fitting you get at Evans I am more often a size 7.

thought I would throw in experience - I am 5 11 -the only places where I can buy long enough trousers are Dorothy Perkins and Topshop tall range, Zara (all their trousers are really long) and Wallis who have started doing a tall length which is long enough. I've tried on long lenghts in M and S and NExt but they are all too short. Have looked at Tallgirls on the web - can anyone tell me what the quality is like? TA
