my sister has one think she paid about 5500 for it (aussie dollars)

I think they are approaching £2000 now depending on the leather, size etc. That sounds about right against 5500 aussie.

If you are lucky, you can get one duty free at Heathrow...

Theres one advertised in this months red magazine and its about 2k from memory, looked a small one so not sure if its a 2.55. I'm very jealous if you are getting one.

Yep, approaching 2k. For 1250 you might get a purse sized one with a chain.

Got a medium last Xmas for £1800. With VAT and inflation I'd expect you'd be hit for a bit more this year... they are well worth it though, heirloom piece!
