Does anyone have a recipe for a face pack that tightens and brightens? I feel bleurgh after the Christmas and new year and don't want to splurge on expensive stuff when home made probably does the job just as well. Any ideas?

From my natural beauty book

Raspberry Skin Brightener
2tablespoons plain yogurt
75g/3oz raspberries
3 drops sweet orange essential oil
Pulp raspberries in a food processorthen sieve over a bowl, reserving flesh and seeds.Add flesh and seeds to yogurt and blend well. drop in oil and mix again. Apply to cleansed faceavoiding eye and mouth area. Leave on for 25 mins and remove with muslin washcloth dunked in warm water. Rinse and pat dry.

Grape Flesh Face Firmer
4 large or 8 small grapes

Split and skin grapes and remove pips. Mash flesh to a pulp and apply to skin avoiding eye and mouth area. Leave for 10-15 mins. Rinse off with warm water, paty dry and moisturise as usual

It also suggests placing slices of tomato over your face for 15 mins to brighten dull skin by gently loosening surface cells
