Accesorise this

Can you please help me accesorise this for a night out at a restaurant and possibly dancing afterwards - shoes, jewellery etc. I know it's not very exciting but I am not comfortable with my body at the moment and I think this dress will hold me in places that need to be held! Also, it's to celebrate my birthday so don't want to feel like the 'fat' one as usual and hoped MN could help me achieve this!

Hi there, I am not the greatest at fashion and style myself, but I love the colour of that dress, and think it would look fab with black heels (stilettos may make your legs look longer) and prehaps a black waist belt if you have a slimmer waist (detail on the belt will draw peoples attention to your waist). Although the dress looks too nice for a belt.

I was just looking at this dress in navy - I thought it looked quite flattering & good for day or evening. I am clueless about shoes / jewellery so hope to hear suggestions too!

Just arrived, great colour, top half great fit, bottom half too tight. I bought a size 14R and the material shows off my thunder thighs. I normally buy 14 from Boden and yes ate a great deal at Christmas but not that much! Annoyed I think there sizing has gone to pot.
