Bag challenge...

Okay, I do have a bit of a bag fetish but lack the money to buy anything really beautiful...

I am getting fed up with having to carry 2 bags or making do with what I can find and am hoping that you lovely ladies can help.

I need a bag that can hold

A netbook (preferably in a separate pocket but not essential)
A lever arch file plus other papers/small books
Lunchbox
And then normal stuff, purse, phone, mp3, fags, makeup etc.
preferably waterproofish

I work in education so don't want anything too flashy and I need to be able to carry it around so over the body or shoulder strap is essential rather than hand held (IYSWIM)

I am also an impoverished student so £50 is my absolute max.

So go on then, impress me!

wow, nice searching, m and s ones a bit dull,
like the asos but too uch rain here to risk canvas with all my work inside (I use a bag made form pvc fabric atm...seriously!)

Really like the JL and warehouse ones though...need to see them in RL to check sizing though,was disappointed in top shop when I 'large shopper' was wide and high enough but only about 3 inches wide.

That is nice ggirl, but utilitarian though, thats the sort of thing I am using now and want something prettier!

Have you got a TK Maxx near you? They always have a random and gorgeous selection of bags which you don't see anywhere else, and usually a few bargains.

ilythia did you get the warehouse bag?

How about going with something handmade in fabric. It won't be waterproof but it'll by water resistant and will dry out perfectly if it does get wet. I never spend a fortune on bags as they take such a beating with my lifestyle (I always cram too much in) and I like to have loads in different colours. Check out these guys, they have some really stunning bags and they're all in your price range.
