Best mascara for fattening thin lashes?

Need a new one.
Have quite thin lashes - don't want long lashes - want thick.

i think anything that makes them thick will also lengthen- don't see how it can't.

I use Lancome Hypnose.

Hope I don't sound hopelessly retro, but Max Factor 2000 calorie mascara is great stuff.
