Debenhams one

they seem to have some nice ones, and in sale too.

Have you been measured properly as a 44ff? could you be a 42G for instance? I always wore a 38E/F until I realised I was actually a 36FF/G

PlumSykes · 06/01/2011 18:14

Figleaves have plenty, but second Smokin's suggestion of getting measured if you haven't been recently.

I have a recommendation - not a cheap one, unfortunately.

The Prima Donna range, available online from Rigby and Peller. Several styles, but the Deauville is my favourite - looks pretty and really does its job! I think investing in a good bra, as with a good haircut, is really worth it because, just as a haircut's always wirth you, it affects whatever you wear on top.

I do agree getting measured is important. I go into Rigby and Peller to check my size evry so often, then order online in between.

ThreadBareCarpet · 06/01/2011 20:02

Ah Rigby and Peller! There was a lady who worked in the London branch could size you correctly just by looking at you Grin

eatyourveg · 06/01/2011 20:20

would second bravissimo and figleaves.

Jcee · 06/01/2011 21:18

I second the prima donna range and getting properly fitted - I couldn't believe the difference a well fitted bra has made to how I look and how clothes look on me!

Thread - I had a fitting at Rigby and peller like that. The lady took one look at me, told me I had the wrong size on and suggested was she thought was the right one. It was so different I didn't believe her especially as she hadn't measured me, but she was spot on!

Once you have your bra size then these people are ace

polyhymnia · 06/01/2011 21:20

Bravissimo - annoyingly IMO - do big cup sizes, but no bigger than a 40.

WhatsWrongWithYou · 06/01/2011 21:52

I don't think it's as simple as knowing your size and ordering online; I get fitted every time I go and it can take up to an hour as I seem to be a weird shape/between sizes/bulging in the middle/puckered over the nipples.

I always brace myself to try on umpteen bras until I find a few that fit, then buy as many as I can.

I agree the op needs to get fitted; most women think they're wider around the back than they are.

Different styles of bras even in one shop can differ hugely too. In M&S (crap for bras, but even so) I range from a 34E to a 36G depending on the bra, stupid!!
