Alpha H anyone?

This is getting rave (kindof) reviews on QVC but, I have found it on another website even cheaper. Has anyone tried it? I've got congested skin :(

Well, I was impressed with the presentation, but I guess that's what they're all paid for. I ordered some and used it every other night for 2 weeks, but soon after started getting spots on my chin and side of face, so now have scarring.

I'm really not sure if it's any good, seems to be like paint stripper, as even when I think I've cleansed thoroughly, I use the Alpha H and loads of dirt comes off on the cotton wool, so wonder if it's very harsh for skin.

I haven't used it for about 2 weeks, but might restart to see if it is the product which gave me flare ups.

I love it, but run out:(

How has it benefitted your skin Lemonade?

ASecretLemonadeDrinker · 04/01/2011 05:59

Gave it a good clearout (I have the odd ... not really spot, kinda blemish, mainly hormonal), reduced scarring, evened out my skintone - I started to go makeup free after. I really did like it, and my skin is very sensitive. It was the micro cleanse, balancing cleanser and liquid gold kit :) BUT I started using liz earle at the same time so it may have been the combo of both.

Maybe it gave us spots because it was clearing out debris from the pores, which I guess would make the skin more prone to environmental pollutants and clogging from moisturisers and make up. I'm going to give it another go though and see.

Here I was thinking it might be my Holy Grail product! I have really a lot of blocked pores oiliness and dryness all at once, even the oil cleanse method didn't agree with me :(
However, I am considering buying the starter kit from lookfantastic.com and seeing how it goes for me.....

Thanks Vinvin, I'm going to google the clarisonic, I've heard of it, but don't know anything else.
Funny you should mention Eve Lom, I've just been using it again. Had a massive pot which I bought 2 years ago, and keep going back to it! My skin does look great with it too, but I think when I stop it goes back the way. (Hmmm, what am I doing? I should just stick to it for longer...) I know she doesn't advocate the use of a moisturiser, but I do need something as a makeup base.
