Organic moisturiser

Hi All

I have combination skin that is in dire need of proper care and attention. Can anyone reccommend a good chemical free moisturiser. Have tried so many moisturisers and not stuck with one (acne reactions, itchy skin etc). Currently using Liz Earle cleanser and it seems to be fine.

Thanks

Try here I use this site all the time so thought I'd see what it recommended. I've personally used the weleda and john masters brands for face and love them both, I normally rotate between the 2 depending on how much I've spent around the time I need to buy!

I have used other lavera products and they are really good too, I currently have the lavera body moisturiser and it smells amazing (as does their hair stuff but that's getting off point!)

I can really recommend spiezia too, I use the facial cleanser but they do moisturisers too

Thanks - I'll have a good look through tonight.

I love REN stuff. Not sure if it organic as such but certainly free or nasties.

spiezia rose and vanilla facial oil is a lovely and light.

TigerseyeMum · 02/01/2011 18:00

Spiezia and Ren (ren is not organic). Dr Organic from Holland and Barrett is very good and very cheap, but not 100% organic.

Neals Yard are fantastic of course, but pricey. They do a very simple one for sensitive skin.

Oh thanks all. I don't mind the cost to be honest so long as it works - my skin has got to the point it needs saving!

ZacharyQuack · 03/01/2011 00:14

Trilogy products are lovely.

fayeso · 03/01/2011 07:28

TIGERSEYEMUM....Are you sure Dr Organic is not 100% organic??

I was going to buy some on my next trip to town...

TigerseyeMum · 03/01/2011 20:09

Yes, I think so - I read something about it and they have very cleverly worded the product - so it is 100% Organic Rose Otto Oil Facial Serum - meaning the rose otto oil is organic but the rest of it isn't. Which is a bt iffy.

I might be wrong, they are on FB so you could ask them maybe.

mousymouse · 03/01/2011 20:23

weleda almond range

HighlandTea · 03/01/2011 21:28

mousy I have got lots of the weleda almond and iris face products in tk maxx for at least half the price if you have one near you

Trevarno Skincare

I too have combination skin. I swear by the overnight replenishing cream. The day cream is good, but I prefer the one without SPF.

Billster · 21/02/2011 20:56

still looking girls - one friend reccommended manuka honey face cream - thinking sounds yummy! Will let you know how it goes.

go to LUSH. its fully natural products with no chemicals and they are all trained to know whats good for your skin. i dont use anything thats not from LUSH anymore!

I like Jurlique, especially their soothing daycare lotion www.jurlique.co.uk/moisturisers/soothing-day-care-lotion/invt/9102700/. The herbal recovery gel is good too.

I second the recommendations for Ren and Dr Hauschka.
