What goes with culotte trousers?

I have seen a really nice pair of culottes, but what do you wear on your feet? Can you wear them with tights and flat shoes? Can you wear them with calf length boots?

I wear boots and ballerina pumps with mine.

LOL starlover! Those were the two things I wanted to wear with them. Do you wear them with woolly tights nbg, and what length / style of boots?

Not at the same time obviously!

I have some cowboy style boots but they're quite smart and some pointed toe stiletto boots which are rouched at the side. They're both shorter than knee length.

I haven't worn them with tights yet but will be doing soon now it's getting colder. I have some fish net type tights (not as bad as they sound) and I'm going to get some wooley ones.
