I got a lovely bargain dress in town today - bit of bling but nice and comfy and draped front so i can cover my xmas flab and eat my DHs gordon ramsey impersonation dinner! We are at home with 8 adults for dinner and 8 kids under 6 for popcorn and dvds, so excited! So what are you doing/wearing?

Low key italian supper in town with friends. Wearing black pencil trousers, black wrap cardigan swooshed up over one shoulder, lots of gold bling and killer purple heels.

Sadly DH is away tomorrow night, so I will have to drink for the both of us. Only fair. :)

i have a sheer top from new look with lots of birdies on it, might wear that with gold hotpants

Walking boots, hiking socks, jeans and the warmest coat I can find - am going in town for the Hogmanay celebrations that are held outside and the weather forecast is for more snow!

Jammies and robe. DH is away on business and can't make it back so it's just me and the kids, some sparkling apple juice for kids (champagne for me), nibbles and the entire Star Wars series.

At this rate pyjamas and a red steaming nose...

Off to neighbours / friends down the road who also have 2DC similar ages to ours. Will be an evening of drinks and nibbles and playing games with Dc until they fall asleep. I have decided to wear black and white FC jersey dress with black cardigan and opaques.

I spent NYE outside once in cornwall jaffa and it was baltic with horizontal rain so you are wise to be prepared!!!

PJs are a tempting option after all the xmas faff but i'm sure I will get drunk into the spirit of things

New christmas pyjamas, uggs and a cashmere cardigan and have already changed into them.

Will shortly be sending DH out for take-away and opening the champagne which should work nicely with my anti-biotics to ensure I'm in bed by 10pm. Party-central here

But have never been a fan of NYE.

A silk multicoloured print Whistles dress, mustard Gap sweater, black tights and grey shoeboots. Going for a casual/luxe vibe. Going to parents' for dinner. Will be at home and dcs hopefully in bed by midnight, though.
