My GHDs died this morning and they're still in warranty. Just wondering what people's experiences were with sending them back for repairs? Especially interested in how long it takes!! Thanks.

I used an Ebay repairs service - cost about £14 and they fixed and sent back within 48 hrs. They won't charge you if they can't fix them, and it was fixed price Buy it Now. If you like I can pm you the details? They put in a wee note saying what was wrong with them - mine was a damaged heating element in one of the plates.

They have a common problem with the wiring but it can be easily fixed. Look on ebay as MHT said.

I didnt know this and sold mine on ebay as broken and someone bought them, fixed them and sold them on!
