I am starting a new 'job' in January, and want to start wearing a little bit of light make up on a daily basis.

Can anyone recommend a light mascara. All I seem to be able to dfind these days is triple length lash boosting XXL super curl type ones...

Clinique naturally glossy mascara is a really good 'every day' mascara - I can't not wear make up (not brave enough) but I found this is enough/appropriate for work without me looking like im off out clubbing!

Also congratulations on your new job too! Smile

I have used the Clinique mascara that doesnt rub off which is handy and also really like the Avon Supershock one.

How about having your eyelashes tinted in a brown colour?

I have mine done once every six weeks and permed once every two or three months.

Not sure about tinting....

But Clinique seems the way to go.

The telescopic ones are good, on me at least, I don't like the chimney brush look at all. Had loreal one telescopic which was great and now have a Max Factor lengthening one which isn't quite as good but 'tis waterproof and the other wasn't so maybe not a fair comparison.

Prefer both to Lancome l'extreme

HettyAmaretti · 29/12/2010 22:41

Eh. oh well, you get the drift, I hope Blush

BelligerentYhoULE · 29/12/2010 22:43

Yes to Clinique - or I'm currently using lancome Definicils (or something) and I like it a lot.

Is the naturally glossy actually a coloured mascara? It isn't a clear mascara is it?

lavera is the best mascara I've ever used, I used to only wear when going out etc but since I've bought this I wear it loads because it just looks so natural. I have also started using their eye liner too and can't secommend it enough

moragdingdongbellingham · 30/12/2010 14:05

Clinique naturally glossy or Max Factor masterpiece is a good everyday one in black/brown.

Gillybobs · 30/12/2010 14:50

Seconding the Max Factor Masterpiece suggestion, gorgeous natural effect and lasts really well too, also very reasonably priced

Pinkflipflop · 30/12/2010 15:45

Just being nosey OP - what are you retraining as?

SlightlyMadSpook · 30/12/2010 21:31
