new makeup suggestions please

I am in the process of revamping my make up bag so any product recommendations would be welcome. I am in my early 40's with fair skin and blue eyes and shoulder length brown hair.

so far i have on my list vitalumiere, studio fix concealer, the jury is still out on blusher and i would really like a quality eyeshadow pallet with matt colours as pearly/shimmery can be aging. Any advice/tips will be most welcome.

Bobbi brown blusher unbeatable for range of colours and staying power. Also love their eyeshadows for same reasons, they have fabulous matt shades that blend well and really last. You can make up your own palette with them which I think is a great idea, no shade that you'd never use!

I love MAC shadow. You'd be best going to a counter and getting them to try some colours on you. I ended up with shades that I never would've picked but look fab for day wear. I'm going to treat myself to some vitalumiere after Xmas

YOu can't beat MAC for eyeshadow IMHO. They do plenty in matte.
