Do high shoes ever stop hurting your feet??

Bought my first pair today, have alaways thought of myself as quite stylish but have never taken the plunge with high shoes, mainly as i am top heavy and they can make you look triangle shaped. However i saw a pair i adored today that were only £8 and have tried them on but they are agony, will my feet ever adjust, or will they always hurt. Thankyou kindly

Try some Scholl Party Feet - can buy them in Boots, tehy're gel pads that fit inside your heels.

Agree that the more expensive the shoes, the more comfortable they are. Expensive shoes have cushioning built in.

Have lost the ability to walk in heels since pregnancy/torn ligament.

lol I once bought a pair of strappy high heels from New Look and they were absolute killers. Never again!

my legs look so nice in them though, although i am convinced they make top heavy women a funny shape, will probably save them for nights out a restaurants where a) the car park is right outside b) I can get a table right next to the loos and c) is at least in the next town so if i do fall over at least i won't know anyone!!
