Merrell Wakefield jacket sizing,

You've all recommended them and they sound ideal for my needs (dogwalking and, erm, dogwalking) but what I need to know please is whether I should opt for my usual size or the size up to accommodate a jumper or ten underneath.

Size up - it's a pretty good fit

I mean the usual size should be a good fit, so you'll need the next size up

Def size up, it's not a warm coat in this weather, more a lightweight longline mac. I need to wear mine with a thick cable knit cardy underneath at the moment.

Having said that I'm a 10-12 and can easily fit a thick cardy under the M.
