what do you think about these boots

have been slightly obsessed with Uggs in recent years but want something different now but still just for wearing with jeans/ leggings/ denim skirts...tried these on an quite liked them what do you think and which colour dark brown or taupe?

Really nice and prefer the dark brown.

I like the dark brown too. The taupe looks a bit washed out. Darker = smarter imo.
