What footwear to go with this dress?

This one. I want it for smartish everyday wear. I am 5ft 3, size 12, with legs like a builder. I prefer heels to flats, which make me look stumpy.

I love love love that dress! I'd wear heeled black boots with it.

I've been leching after it for months, IWDT, and when I saw it reduced to £49, I had to have it. I wondered about boots.I may have to wait until after the post Xmas sales for those though.

This is going to be an expensive thread, I love that dress!!

I just bought that dress! It's beautiful. I was thinking of these with it, with opaque purple tights. (The shoes are slate grey and shiny patent in real life, not a cheap looking as they are in the photo.)

Those Principles Ethel ones - gorgeous colour and shape. Not sure about the ones that tie at the ankles. Chunky legs can't take that (I should know!)
