where has good skinny jeans?

hellooo, just bought first (cheap)pair of skinny jeans to wear with knee high boots. only thing is, the jeans are quite low cut, which is perhaps not the most flattering thing for a mummy-tummy! Where has reasonably priced skinny jeans that aren't so low? Ta!

I bought a pair of really thin skinny jeans from top shop. Very lycra, wash really well and quite high ish on the waist. £36 so not a bargain but very nice to wear.

I got a pair from New Look recently they are their plain skinnies and at £20 they were bargainous. I was very unsure due to a rather mummyish mummy tummy! They fit amazingly and no muffin top either which is a first for any jeans.

Agree on the Top Shop front - I wear their Jaimie skinnies all the time. They are skinnier than their Baxters and sit slightly higher than them too. And strangely, I am a 30 inch (size 12) waist in Baxters but a 28 (size 10) in said skinnier Jaimies - horrah!

I can recommend the primark super skinny for a mummy tummy.

Top Shop Kristens. High waisted and fab. They hold the flab in and whenever I wear mine I'm told I've lost weight.

I have Dorothy Perkins. Quite a high waist and cheap - 20 quid but they had 20% off when I bought them.

I just bought a pair from Next- £25 or £26 on the reommendation from someone on here. They are fab. I even sat down on the changing room floor to see how much muffin toppage I could see, and it was hardly any.

They get a big thumbs up from me.

I ordered the DP ones the other day, so am looking forward to seeing what they are like- especially as they were more expensive than the Next ones!

I am wearing a pair of straight-leg's from Asda! They fit me great, and have a high waist. And they were about £12

Another vote for primark super skinny. Nice high waist and only a tenner. I've bought 3 pairs :)

I bought a pair from M&S for £12 and they fit perfectly. High waist too.

I was apprehensive as I've never been able to wear skinny jeans comfortably but I've been living in these.

Do the Primark super skinnies fit roughly to size? I often have to size up in there.

My vote would be for New Look £20 version and the bonus is that they come in short length and go up to an 18 - most places don't allow you to be porky and a shortarse Thanks to the wonders of WW I am down to a 14 now but previously they were a Godsend for me.

EvilDrPorkChop and Lulalullabye - are these the Topshop ones? What is the sizing like? I have 30 inch leg baxters but the 12 is big on me, is it the same with their skinny jeans?

Next skinny jeans are utterly brilliant - I loathe Next as a rule but have been raving about their skinnies on here for years.

Around the £20 - £25 mark, lots of give, well sized, don't BAG, far better cut than Baxters for about half the price.

Only the oasis skinnies fit me without bagging at the knee- I love them. Could not get on with next/new look/gap- all baggy knees, falling down waist etc. Well worth checking out!

I think the primark ones are sized well. I normally wear a 12 and the 12 fitted me.

However I think it depends on body shape. I have a small waist, narrow hips but a sticky out bum, most jeans fit on the bum but not waist but the primark ones fit one th bum and the waist.

I've got the topshop kristens as well. They are fab but a bit baggy on day 2. Think I might need to size down to counteract this.

I found Primark to be the best, oddly enough!

H&M have good ones and they are high waisted to cover all. they don't run when washed and hold their shape well too. 14 pounds well spent I think!

H+M seem to be cut for women with no hips though. I am a curvy 12-14 and 5ft 10 and ime H+M don't cater well for women of my build.
