stirrups for skinny jeans

Anyone know where I can buy stirrups to attach under skinny jeans to stop them going baggy at the knee? And do they actually work?

Surely they pull the leg down, and then you will just spend the whole time hitching them up? Which skinny jeans do you have? My ones from Oasis haven't gone baggy and I've been wearign them pretty much constantly since spring.

M+S. They are fab but when I wear them with boots they tend to go a little baggy at the knee.

what is this stirrup of which you speak?

is it not just like sewing a strip of elastic to the bottom? Won't it ruin the line of the jeans at the side? So they are all weirdly pulled down?

oooh there was a woman in one of the daily papers recently who had 'invented/designed' and marketed clip on stirrups for jeans. IIRC she had got ana ward or made a fortune from them.

No idea where they were being sold though but it might jog someones memory

I just tend to tuck mine into my socks if i'm wearing them with boots. That tends to stop them going baggy at the knee for me

Those are just jodpur clips but 5x the price!

RiojaLover75 · 13/12/2010 21:30

Indeed! I did wonder why she'd got so much applause for reinventing the wheel!

Gogopops · 13/12/2010 22:26

OMG i remember this kind of thing from the 80's. I also wore ski pants then and thought they were fab. Are they coming back in??

sazm · 14/12/2010 09:36

you can buy ' skipants ' again lol, asda have them and a few other places,

toucancancan · 14/12/2010 12:51

That's the article I read. The jodpur clips are only a couple of quid though, so I'll buy those instead.
