I have been slobbing out in pjs for the last week due to crappy viral bug. So have made an effort this morning in a bid to convince myself I am well again

Plum velvet sleeveless shift dress (Kew)
grey & white long sleeve breton layered beneath (M&S)
plum ribbed cotton tights (TK Maxx)
brown knee high flat boots (Toast)

Brown cords (M&S)
Cream turtle neck jumper (Gap)
Socks (not sure, probably M&S)
Wrapped up on the sofa under a throw (John Lewis)

Jeans
Black jumper

I'm going to be shampoo-ing the carpets in a bit tho so I'll be getting changed!!

Mollie what are your cords like? I would love a pair of straight legs but never seem to be able to find a pair which fits in anything like a flattering fashion.

Thinking about putting on my not very stylish grey fleece from M&S (bought in a charity shop!) as the office is rather chilly!

They are boot leg ones. From M&S last year I think. Very comfy (am dressed for comfort today rather than any style!).

Accessorised with a cuppa tea to warm the hands...think I might accessorise soon with a duvet also...if only DD would settle down :(

tulpe, did it work? I, same as you, have had hideous viral thing for weeks now. Have tried several times to dress to convince self of wellness.

Have now given up and will continue to swill about in pj's, soxs and scarf until I no longer have to sit propped up in bed at night to prevent death from coughing up lung lining or just general inability to get breath!

sexbomb - yes it kind of worked. But am sure to be back in pjs after the school run this afternoon! And I too have been sleeping sitting up - I would like to spend one evening not coughing!

Also dressed in an effort to pretend I'm well - I appear to have some gastric flu/upper respiratory hideous thing - every time I cough hard I need to POO
