Winter boots for my narrow feet

I would dearly love some nice warm boots. Everything I try on (haven't had too many opportunities lately, admittedly!) is wayyyy too wide on the foot for me. Wanted something nice and practical and warm for school run/general day to day with the kids so no high heels for me (sadly!).

Does anyone else on here have narrow feet and if yes, where do you shop for shoes? I have two pairs of boots, one is 7 years old, the other 10! They are still just about ok but a few holes are now appearing and so I think it is time for a replacement pair!

Don't know if this helps- I have narrrow feet ( A-B fitting and find shoes a nightmare.)
I buy my boots from DUO who do slim calf fittings. The feet are obviously proportioned, but not really narrrow as such.
I find can manage fine with boots as long as I add an inner sole and sometimes 2 pairs of thick socks.

you could look at the website www.jamesingles.com who do narrow fitting shoes/boots but they are not terribly fashionable.

OH, thanks Purple - have already looked at James Inglis but will have another peek. That's a good tip re: Duo, I was worried they would be really wide fitting. Do you know how their sizes run, ie normally I take a size 6.5 or 7 uk, do their sizes tend to run on the small or large side? Feeling hopeful now!

ode I have narrow feet and Duo boots, they fit perfectly on the legs but I find they can be a little baggy around ankles as the width is standard. I was measured in store as a size 6 and I'm normally a 6, very occassionally a 7. As a comparison my blowfish boots are a 7, have size 6 converse and sketchers for work and lots of size 6 pumps from next. HTH

Duo foot sizing really varies. I have 3 pairs and they range from 37, 38, and 39!

If you fancy a particular style let me know as I go to the London store and have tried most of them on this year.

I am normally a 5- 5.5 in shoe size.
Best fitting boots from Duo oare Kirov- kitten heels and for "best" but I have also had Ravenna, and this year bought Viola which is tight- got a 39. Last year I bought a riding boot one with 2 buckles on side- ( sorr y would need to check name) and only needed a 37 as the foot was very generous.
