Ugg Boots?

Advice please ladies!

I have seen a pair of Uggs that I really like the look of, and best of all they have been reduced! Down from £153 to £93.

Firstly, are they really worth it? What do other Ugg owners think?

Secondly, do I go black or Chocolate

I think I prefer the Chocolate pair, but would the black pair be easier to wear with other items?

Thoughts please [grovelling emotcion]

I have chocolate UGG bailey and they are ridiculously warm. Also have UGG slippers which are just amazing but were stupidly expensive for a pair of slippers.

Can't get the links you've posted to work. Seems like a good deal.... sorry to sound like an old cynic though but are they definitely real ones?

That is my concern too!
I've looked into them a little more and they appear to be based in China [sceptical].

Perhaps I will look out for a good deal closer to home!

If they are based in China I'm afraid they're likely to be fakes. As are most of the "great" deals on ebay. I bought mine from rubbersole with a discount code but that was a while back now. Still paid about £130 tho

Not even going to mention how much the slippers cost

I love my uggs, I got the bailey triplet (I think that's what they r called) and they are just so comfy! The ones that look like cardigans seem 2 be reduced most places now, or you can buy off ugg American wbsite which is loads cheaper but I know some people end up paying tax/duty/somthing at customs! Xxx

I think choc is the most stylish colour.

I bought mine at Celtic Sheepskin (so not Uggs technically) and they are fab. just do not wear them in the rain!

Not tried the cardi ones myself, but one of my friends has them and loves them! I just went on a google spree til I found discount codes that got me money off - very.co.uk seem to have loads of offers and u can use more than 1 code eg I got money off and also buy now pay later (just used that like interest free credit an still made payments each month to get them paid back but not such a big hit to the bank balance)! Xxx

I have just bought the new style Rosslyn UGG boots, they have a zip up the side and much tougher than the classic boots.
I love them, they are the only things ive ever had that I would rather wear round the house than slippers

You can go on the UGG Australia website and chek if they are licensed sellers, they list every seller in the world who is authorised to sell UGGs.
There are a few ways you can tell if they are real and that is also listed on the website.
Truth is that if theyre cheap then theyre probably fake.
You should expect to pay £150+ for a pair of genuine Uggs.

Genuine Uggs are made in China - or certainly were last year...so I have Celtic Sheepskin boots - they were the original UGG company (based in England and still made there as Celt Boots)which was then bought by UGG Australia which I think is now owned by an American multinational called Deckers (?) which has the boots made in China. I had an interesting experience last winter when I ordered a pair of Ugg boots from the company Whooga - I had seen lots of positive reviews online and their own website stressed they were a genuine Australian company (and implied that unlike Uggs, they weren't made in China). When my Whoogas arrived in all Whooga packaging, they had Chinese invoices, Whooga labels sewn on the backs of the heels, and Ugg labels sewn inside! I had some dialogue with Whooga which included me sending photos and suggesting they should be clearer on their website about where their boots were made, them sounding embarrassed, admitting that although Whooga was Australian-owned, all boots were currently made in China - and sending me quite a bit of my money back. Shortly after that, my stepdaughter came home with a genuine pair of expensive (twice the price of my Whoogas and also pricier than Celt Boots) Ugg boots bought in a reputable UK shop - and they are absolutely identical to my Whooga-boots-with-Ugg-label. Sorry for the long post but at the end of all this I felt that both UGG and Whooga marketing was a bit sneaky! Enjoy your boots whatever you go for

ugg kensingtons are lovely, i have had mine a week and they are so snug, make my legs look slim too!
