If you live anywhere near Cheltenham I'd highly recommend the independent shop Monty Smith - my DH hates trying on loads of stuff and being uncertain what will look good and what won't. The very nice man who runs this shop will pick you out a pair of jeans that are almost certain to be spot on ( lots of G Star at the moment) and loads of lovely shirts/knitwear and some great gifts too. I'm in no way conected, just so pleased this shop exists!
