Help! Where can I get a posh winter coat for DH?

He's a biiig chap, and has like Nicole Farhi stuff in the past. Any ideas? Ideally under £500, and a sort of mid length rather than a jacket.

Am drawing a blank as everything online seems to be for women!

I actually got my DH a really nice smart coat last winter from Next of all places - bizarre but true and maybe worth a look. Perhaps not posh enough though :)

thanks both - I should have put more detail in; it really needs to be a bit more practical, ie showerproof, and go over a jumper - not posh as in evening posh, posh as in DH is a designer bunny (I wear New Look myself )

John Lewis has lots for men. Was trying to persuade my H towards a smart longish Crombie type coat but no, he wanted a Barbour

You need to go to TK Maxx. DP got an amazing wool and cashmere knee length Tommy Hilfiger coat last year for £150.

If he's big, then you've more chance of finding an amazing bargain...

My Dh got the most gorgeous coat from Reiss about 3 years ago.

I can't see anything quite as lovely there atm, but this is rather nice.
