I'm looking for the one with the best coverage and the best lasting power. Which one should I go for?

For best coverage and lasting it would have to be Estee Lauder, this is a much fuller coverage than the other two by design.

Have you used them all then?

I have been using Superfit for a few years now and it really suits my skin which has dryish tendencies and I'm now menopausal!! I found that it lasts all day and gives my skin a nice dewy look.

However, I know that Clinique have been having problems with the formulation of Superfit recently and I haven't been able to get my usual shade for about 6 months. Sad. I am advised that it will be coming back into stock soon.

Estee Lauder double wear is vile - has the texture of PVA glue.

Yes it stays on all day but is very drying and looks like shite.

Gogopops I have seen Superfit in Debenhams, Boots didn't have any though.

Or what about repairwear?

Used to wear EL but my skin went through a really bad phase and it just seemed to highlight crappy skin rather than cover it.

Changed skincare regime to Dermalogica and skin has improved no end.

EL just too heavy for me personally so now use Clinique Even Better makeup which is supposed to improve skintone as you're wearing it, provides moderate coverage and it good for combination skin.

EL says it's medium coverage but compared to Clinique it's definitely a fuller coverage. Agree with GetOrfMoiLand, it does seem to be very drying (as is Mac - shows off every bit of dry skin going!)

Instead of buying full bottles of any foundation if you go to the counter and ask for a colour match then a few days supply they should readily do this for you and then you can see which one definitely suits you.

I could go on forever about makeup so tell me to shut up when you're bored...but have found that mixing foundation with a bit of primer before applying really helps even coverage and foundation lasts longer. After trying a few (Laura Mercier, L'Oreal and Mac) I've found BeneFits primer to be the best.
