How would you get that volume at the fornt without backcombing? rollers?

One of these? (Awful name )

Dry your hair upside down with mousse and a loose version is so much easier to wear so just pile it up loosely and pin it

Have a look at Youtube, there are many great tutorials for celeb hairstyles. I copied a Ditta Von Teese hairstyle there and it worked out quite well.

agree with monadami I copied victory rolls from a youtibe tutorial and managed it just fine - was very chuffed with myself and my victory rolls!!
