I like it, just not sure of the material.

It's a lovely bag - my parents have bought me the same for Christmas but in the blue flowers as I wasn't sure about the 'winter meadow' fabric - good in the winter but wouldn't work so well in spring/summer IMHO.

I recently bought one of the Boden satchels and it's great having your hands free, especially with small children in tow. Have been dragging my satchel with me everywhere - will seem v strange just going out with small clutch to party tomorrow night!

I like that bag (It's chavtastic!). I have seen it in the shop and was very tempted. I like velvet.

got a boden satchel in the summer and LOVE it, don't like this years colours though

I think the black flowery one will go with more, but the red is a lovely colour. So not much help there then!

I love the Rose Messenger - would recommend over the Winter Meadow. A bag for all seasons me thinks!! I already have an oilcloth bag in that fabric otherwise it would have been my pattern of choice.

Messenger bags / satchels = good.
Cath Kidston print ..not so good. Would get bored with the print quickly. Why not get a nice leather one that would be good in all seasons, age well and that you will like for ages. Check out Scaramanga bags - not too ££ but look good.

I don't like bags that last for ever - I get bored of them! I get cheap bags and then swop them around.

I like the strap on the black one, but I like the red bag more.

I have two so I must be an uber Chav. That and my Emma bridgwater crockery....

They are brilliant, comfy and roomy. It is like the Bermuda triangle in there though, I am forever rooting around for things.

I like a more satchely satchel, iykwim.

I have this one, got it at the Tate Modern shop a few years ago

IKWYM, I had a look at that link.. it is lovely, but i prefer the softness of teh fabric ones.
