Tutu-style skirt for 7 y.o DD?

Would anyone like to help me find a Christmas party outfit for my 7 y.o DD?

She particularly wants a tutu style skirt. There's a few around but then I'm not sure what to put with it - a lot of cardigans are little cropped one button things, and I don't feel that a sleeveless top will cut it in this sort of weather!

FWIW, she's tall, slim, long dark hair, not keen on pale pink.

The Gap have quite a few in lovely colours too.

I have bought tutus from this e-bay seller and they are great. Huge they are. With lots of layers. I have bought from her on three separate occasions and I have always got them fast. She is in Hong Kong.

I've been a bit carried away with savoycabbage's gigantic multi-layered tutu... but what top would you put with this? I wasn't keen on the ones designed to go with it.

There are a couple of tutus in Zara which look like proper clothes rather than carry any risk that you might appear to be playing dress up princesses/fairies etc

I noticed them at the weekend and thought how good they would be for my DD (age 8) who loves princesses, fairies etc but often has a wobble when it comes to getting ready for any school event as the "cool" kids might laugh at her.

If you look at the thumb nails at the bottom they do suggest what to wear them with.
