Am thinking about buying a Superdry t-shirt as a gift but am unsure about the sizing - would anyone know what their women's fit is like? TIA x

I think they are tiny similar to Abercrombie.

teej · 02/12/2010 12:09

Thanks, Notevenamouse - so a pre-teen who's probably size 6-8 would be an 8, then?

I find superdry generous in sizing.

5GoldenFimbos · 02/12/2010 13:59

Superdry is small in sizing. My skinny minny 12 year old is in xs.

paddingtonbear1 · 02/12/2010 14:00

I find them slightly on the small side. I'm size 12 and have a M in one of their hoodies, but it's quite fitted.

teej · 02/12/2010 14:10

OK - thanks all! Looks like an xs for a skinny 12 yr old should be OK...

Make sure you buy it in the womens section. My dd has two hoodies one is a better fit than the other.

Her first one we bought in House of Fraser in the Superdry concession where everything is kind of just thrown in together. I think it is a man's.

The second one we bought from an actual Superdry shop and from the female section! It is a much better fit.

Ah sorry just realised which thread you are talking about. I think what you are doing is fantastic and soooo the right present for the tweeny age group. Xmas Grin. Our Hollister shop is opening tomorrow, I am going for a t-shirt on Saturday for dd for Christmas because I tried to order on line and they wanted £9 delivery! Xmas Shock

paddingtonbear1 · 02/12/2010 20:28

£9 delivery Shock
Just make sure you take a torch when you go in the Hollister shop Grin

dexter73 · 02/12/2010 20:49

They have completely different stuff instore to online. I went armed with my dd's christmas list and they didn't have any of it in store. Not too much of a problem as I just got similar things.

sleighBELLasringing · 02/12/2010 20:54

My tiny DS2 (11) wears a womans small coat. DS1 (13) wheres a mans small coat, hoodie and t/shirts.

I am pretty certain the online store have free delivery.

teej · 02/12/2010 21:28

£9 delivery 5GoldenFimbos?! I'll be sticking with the Superdry from ASOS with free delivery, then!

Oh sleighBELL I did the deed already and selected an XS! If it's too small I'm just going to have to get it exchanged, I guess.

It was much simpler when she was little and I could just buy her lovely matching outfits from babyGap. And I dread to think what my 2 will be like at the same age Xmas Confused....

The fake Hollister site does free delivery but the real site charges £££.

teej · 02/12/2010 21:46

Thanks for the warning dexter!

Superdry for women is tiny sizing!! A friend's model slim, size 6-8 dd had to buy a hoodie in L so it wasn't skin tight. I'm a 12 and an XL hoodie is uncomfortably tight on me. I can't imagine who would wear an XS in there - small children only.

T shirts do come up slightly bigger though ime.

5GoldenFimbos · 03/12/2010 11:12

well as I said my dd has the xs and it is fine.

superv1xen · 03/12/2010 21:26

i have a t-shirt in medium and i am only a size 8.
