Please tell me what you think of these winter boots?!

I live in NE Scotland so they need to be warm and waterproof...

In particular, I need them to wear for work on days when there's snow. My Uni has got me teaching all over campus from January so I need them to trek back and forth when the weather's bad. Fortuntately, I can get away with wearing jeans on such days, so they don't need to be super-smart. I'm erring towards no. 2 or 3.

I'd get #2 in the dark brown, btw.

Right, I've decided on no. 4 BUT what colour...brown or black? I prefer the black, but I've just ordered this coat in brown. Would the black boots look weird with the brown coat?

I'm loving number 1 in black. Really like number 4 also but they don't seem to come in black or maybe I missed something?

Duh, I meant no. 1. I've just tried ordering them in black, but they're out of stock. Found them somewhere else, but for another £14, which wouldn't break the bank. Do you think that the black would look strange with the brown coat? (If so, I'm tempted to send the coat back and get in black....)

I would get the coat in black if I was you. From seeing people in these quilted coats, I think they look better in black than brown. You will look amazing

Am defo going to check out those boots in the jan sales...wish I had money now!

Just ordered them in black (whistl DH snores away on the sofa blistfully unaware of me blowing the budget....). The coat should be here within the next day or two so I'll see what they look like together.
