Please find me a £100 dress for a black-tie ball

Hello, I'm going to a ball in December and could do with a new dress as my beloved Coast one (halterneck, backless, black, long) is now too big on me.

I'm a size 10, with a nice back, smallish boobs, a not-flat-enough tummy. My arms are OK. I have long hair and can't wear red.

Oh, and I only have about £100 to spend.

Any ideas, fashionistas?

TK Maxx always have a good selection of dresses. have you tried any outlet malls? the one in York is fab and has a coast outlet, though of course you may be many miles away!

You're all so fab - thanks!

herbietea, when the Sexy her dresses arrive, are they OK? The photos are very hard to see...

I like all those ones, KerryMumbles. The grey is FAB (and i love that it's £100 on the nose) but is it dressy enough IRL?

And yes, that Phase 8 long one is great...

Ooh I was lusting after a fabulous grey maxi in the Covent Garden branch of Cos today - sadly it's not on their website (not that you can buy things online from them) - anyway it was a darkish grey, sleeveless creation, with a slashed back (think you'd need a clever sort of bra) and an interesting 'architectural' pleaty arrangement on the front (nice if you like that sort of thing, which you may not, I don't know). Anyway if you're near a Cos, have a look - it was £89, so on budget - and it was far from the only lovely item in the shop. I love Cos.
