Sorry another one from me, I have asked my MIL to buy me some nice moisturiser for Christmas, she wants to know what to buy, budget about 40 quid I think. There is a special offer on Boots protect and perfect to buy a gift set supposedly worth 90 odd and she has asked if I want that but I am not sure, I don't tend to use night cream as it always feels too rich. I really just want one thing that does it all! I am 43 if that makes any difference, pretty good skin but some signs of ageing round the eyes. What should I ask for??? Thanks!

The TSV on QVC this Sunday is Elemis. It has Pro Collagen Marine Cream in it. Don't know how much it costs yet, though.

I'm using Crystal Clear products at the moment for daycare and Liz Earl Cleanse & Polish with Elemis Pro Collagen at night. Reasonably pleased with all items.

Eve Lom TLC cream. I use it as a night cream. It is fab, you wake up with the skin of a baby.

Apparently all the age-related stuff is bollocks. The real thing is to try out what suits your skin, no matter how cheap.

Eve Fraser of facial exercise fame says moisturiser at night is generally not needed, indeed it softens the skin and encourages wrinkles.

I've followed this advice for about 8-9 years and have had compliments about my skin : I'm 56 since you ask.

I do use sunscreen, particularly Clinique's Cityblock, as it is a fab primer at the same time.

Not helping. am I?

Neal's Yard Frankincense moisturiser is nice. :)
