Mine's all scratchy and dry too. Ugh.

I'm going for exfoliators, bought a new cleanser today so will try that. Also, Organic Pharmacy Ultra moisturiser is brilliant for everyday use when you get to my age even though it's meant to be used once a week or so.

Cetaphil cleanser and moisturiser is really good for dry sensitive skin. It's recommended by dermatologists apparently. I've just started using it on my winter skin, and it certainly seems to be calming it down.

I second the cetaphil. Your skin doesn't end up feeling stretched and cracky after washing. Oil cleansing is good for the winter too.

The cold weather is really harsh on my skin, I am using up 5 year old this years sun screen at the moment, along with Boots time delay products. Prevention is better than cure.

I mix Shangri-La from Lush with Vaseline. Works a treat.

I get more spots when my skin is dry, presumably because it gets more fragile.

If you can fork out, REN frankinsence night repair and their Omega 3 serum are great.

Im taking udo's choice ultimate blend oil and slapping on the spf/moisturisor/exfoliating, central heating on all the time just now whch isn't helping.

I have sensitive skin (rosacea) that also goes dry and flaky in this weather. I've tried many products over the years, and keep coming back to my favourite - Dr Hauschka, especially the Rose Day Cream. It's not the cheapest but works better than many more expensive ranges - and the products smell fantastic (even my teenage stepsons have noticed and commented favourably).

I cover myself in avocado body butter daily. It's working a treat so far.

Khiels is another really good brand, though quite pricey. I love their Abyssine lotion.
