What are we wearing in the cold today?

We have a light smattering of snow and it's very cold. I only dragged myself out of bed about 40 minutes ago!

Not doing much today - just the library, supermarket and a hunt in Home Bargains for stocking fillers for the dds so will wear:

brown knee high boots
grey merino mix tights (with big socks over and the ribbonny top just sticking out over the boots)
dark denim mini
thermal t-shirt
slouchy pale grey cashmere jumper
big scarf
coat

I have also dug out my pale grey mittens, which will be worn under grey cashmere wrist warmers!

Must admit that the idea of dungarees sounds surprisingly tempting!

Am indoors now and am accessorising the above (minus coat, scarf and mittens) with grey legwarmers and dd2's furry slippers (which are two sizes too big for me). Am very cold - what time can I put the heatingon? :)

laptop battery keeping me warm for now!

we have lots of snow (started mullering it down again about 5 mins ago!) here oop north. Heating went on at 10am and been on since then (will think about bills later...!). have on fleecy lounge pants thing, big jumper, hand knitted blanket (looks rubbish but v proud of it and also v warm) and laptop battery like Dance!

Am seriously considering a hot water bottle, but then I'm a bit wet in the snow and cold! :)

I've now got a hot water bottle up my jumper! :)

i am also wearing a long mohair cardigan that is green, blue, red and white :)

Still in cropped running tights and vest from this morning's class and layered over the top have nike jogging bottoms and a thick joules hoody. Wore wellies with this ensemble out of the house this morning, DH was most amused.

Out shopping today - v cold

Went out for lunch with dds and dh earlier and was wearing choc brown knee length shearling coat (maxmara) autograph grey cashmere beret and M&S brown leather gloves.

Supposed to be out for birthday dinner with dh later tonight (his birthday, not mine) and actually really don't want to leave house again, too cold!
Will get changed into something smarter for dinner.

Liking the sound of the cashmere beret!

BG - is the M&S autograph one, comes in black, silver grey and charcoal. £20 iirc.

I love silvery grey - and it would match my wristwarmers nicely. :)

Snow snow snow! I have been driving through it today, wearing:

woolly long-sleeved vest (just peeking thru) v-neck fine knit navy tunic from uniqlo with a chiffon trim round the skirt;
printed floral purplish/ navy cardi from M&Co;
navy smart H&M cardi on top (charity shop);
bumblebee brooch;
blue shetland lace knitted scarf;
navy leggings with 5 buttons at each ankle (& tights);
dark brown leather warm-lined boots from M&S last year.
