Winter coat ideas?

I sold my 2 winter coats on ebay and am now regretting it as I only have a little waterproof left and I'm freezing. I've trawled websites looking for something that catches my eye but no luck so far. I'd like something warm, taht comes down over my bum and isn't too formal - i need it for work but also for being with the kids? ANy ideas?

Are you after a woollen coat or more of a puffa stlye or anorak, parka?

Either. I like duffle coats but I also like puffas because they look so warm if only they were more flattering. Budget is up to 80.

I love this but can't justify a new coat. You can buy it and give me vicarious pleasure wearing it for me .

I bought this coat last week. Looks crap on the website, but is really flattering on especially with a huge scarf. Have worn it every day since, and it has been cold and snowy.

Blossoming, its lovely but maybe a bit too formal for me but it does look warm.
