Time running out - need shoes to go with this dress. Please help

I have a night out coming up soon. I have this dress and love it. I am short so plan to wear it with black tights but have no idea about shoes/boots.

Any suggestions?

I hate buying boots. I have weird high insteps that make it practically impossible to get into most boots.

I think boots would look good.
