What boots to wear with dark, slim-leg jeans?

I got the jeans on sale at Uniqlo and am quite chuffed - they're much smarter than either of my old pairs (grey and washed navy) - but now I feel I need winter-appopriate shoes to match. Nothing too pricey. I'd like something a little sophisticated and biker-chic...

Lots of nice boots in rl shops at the mo. Lots of lace-up front ones with zips on the inside and buckles on the outside.
Make sure you can tuck your jeans into the boots though or they'll be wasted. I have 2 pairs of boots on the go at the mo - one for jeans, one for leggings/tights!

I've got some fab ones from Marksies' (surprise, surprise) with laces etc that come up quite high. make sure you tuck your tjeans in, though!!
